On behalf of CherYsh Trust India, we appeal for your support for our CherYsh Educate vertical, which consists of an integrative learning program with our 3 Shiksha models – CherYsh Junior Shiksha, CherYsh English Shiksha, and CherYsh eShiksha.
These programs are designed to provide quality education and skills to the underpriviledged girls in Northern Karnataka. Our goal is to empower girls with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in life and break the cycle of poverty and inequality in their communities.
CherYsh Junior Shiksha is a program for young girls in the age group of 6 to 10 years. It is an early after school education program that focusses on building foundational skills such as language, numeracy, socialization, and creativity. This program helps prepare young girls for primary education and sets them on the path to academic success.
CherYsh English Shiksha is a program that focusses on English language learning girls in grades 5 to 8. English is a critical language for success in the modern world, and this provides girls with the opportunity to learn, practice and be confident to speak English with their city peers, and village elders. We believe that this program will help girls access better employment opportunities in the future.
CherYsh eShiksha isa program that uses high end technology with coding skills to promote logical thinking and physical computing. This program combines online learning modules, virtual and offline classrooms, and mentorship to create a comprehensive learning experience that is tailored to the needs of the rural girls of the Haliyal Taluk and it’s many villages.
All our 3 programs have curriculum’s created and curated by experts and educationists in the field specifically to address the requirements of our beneficiaries. These programs have already made a significant impact on around 1500 plus girls in the Haliyal Taluk across 44 villages. However, we need your support to continue providing these critical programs. Your donation will help us expand our programs and reach even more villages and girls in need.

The ‘CherYsh approach’ takes a bird’s eye view of the various stages in a girl's life. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life for girls and women living in rural India by offering programs and initiatives that cater to their unique needs during each of these stages.
Our framework for change revolves around three dimensions that form a girl's journey from learning to earning. These are EDUCATE, PREPARE and SECURE
We initiate change during these stages by supporting early learning, skills and vocational training and livelihood. Our programs are curated to fit the needs of each stage, and we ensure that they are implemented within the ecosystem and environment of the geographic neighbourhood.
Our approach involves identifying individuals or groups, providing them with e-learning and skill-building programs, creating business plans, linking them with financial and market resources, and monitoring and mentoring their progress.
