OUR APPEAL

Help Save Aravalli Trust Raise ₹10 Lakhs to Secure a Tractor and Water Tanker for Reforestation Efforts
The Aravalli range, one of India’s most critical ecosystems, is under threat due to deforestation, climate change, and urban expansion. Save Aravalli Trust has been actively working to restore degraded patches of this iconic range by planting and nurturing trees. However, we are now facing a critical challenge in sustaining our reforestation efforts.
Why We Need Your Help
Currently, we have one tractor and one water tanker, which we use to water the thousands of trees planted in our 11 reforestation patches which is further increaseing in number. The water is sourced sustainably from our natural Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Sainik Colony, Faridabad. This ensures that treated wastewater is repurposed for nurturing life, making our efforts eco-friendly and efficient.
However, as the number of our reforestation patches grows, our resources are no longer sufficient to meet the demand. Watering frequency is critical for plant survival, especially during the scorching summers and harsh winters of the Aravalli region, where temperatures can be extreme, and drought-like conditions prevail.
In summer, the young saplings require frequent watering to survive the dry and arid conditions. Even missing one watering cycle can severely affect their survival rate.
In winter, the cold, dry winds can sap moisture from the soil, putting young trees at risk. Regular watering is essential to help them grow deep roots and establish themselves.
Without additional resources, we cannot maintain the frequency of watering required to ensure the survival of these trees.
Our Goal
We need to raise ₹10 Lakhs to purchase:
One tractor
One water tanker
This will significantly enhance our ability to water and nurture the expanding reforestation patches. Along with this, we will need to hire a driver-cum-watering person for full-time assistance, as the job demands working long hours in harsh conditions, which volunteers are unable to commit to.
How You Can Help
Your contribution can directly impact the survival of thousands of trees, ensuring the Aravalli range remains a vital green belt. This isn’t just about planting trees—it’s about nurturing them until they can thrive independently. Every rupee counts towards:
Preventing plant mortality due to water scarcity.
Expanding our reach to restore more patches of the Aravalli forest.
Supporting sustainable practices by utilizing treated wastewater.
We welcome all queries and are happy to clarify any doubts you may have. You can reach us via email or connect with us on LinkedIn, Twitter, or other social media platforms. Please do not hesitate to reach out—your support can make all the difference.
Let’s come together to safeguard the Aravalli range for future generations. Donate today to help us build a greener, healthier tomorrow.
Additionally you can share this with your friends and colleagues or CSR departments and be a passive fund generator for Save Aravali Trust and support our initiatives.
