Every day, people with disabilities face unique challenges that can prevent them from living full and independent lives. Many struggle to access the resources and support they need to thrive, leaving them vulnerable to poverty, isolation, and discrimination.
At proVISION ASIA, we are committed to changing this reality. We believe that everyone has the right to live with dignity and independence, regardless of their abilities. That's why for this TCS World 10K, we are raising INR 50,00,000 to support our programs and initiatives for individuals with disabilities in our community.
With your help, we can provide:
• 150 Mobility Aids: We have a tried and tested model for providing assistive devices to those in need. By donating, you can help us deliver 150 individuals with the mobility and independence they deserve.
• 2 empowHER training programs: With years of experience, our empowHER training programs empower young adults with disabilities with the skills and confidence they need to pursue their dreams and achieve success.
• 25 Community Awareness Programs: Our community awareness programs help educate the broader community about the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals with disabilities. With your help, we can spread the word and create a more inclusive and supportive community.
• Operation of Mithra Special School: The school's vision is to bring independence to children with disabilities with a balance of academics, social, physical, aesthetic and spiritual growth. The 33 enrolled students have multiple disabilities.

| Project Description | Even this year 2024, We were able to distribute brand new customized 20 adult and 14 pediatric wheelchairs for individuals touched by disabilities in Sargur Mysore district, through these mobility aids, individuals are now independent and some of them who are bread winners of their family can now achieve their dreams with more mobility. They can easily do their daily activities without dependence. |

People who struggle with physical or intellectual disabilities have hope; life can be fruitful and have purpose. proVISION ASIA serves these friends by offering a hand up, not a hand out. We encourage them to recognize and utilize their own abilities; empower them to make a significant contribution to society.
proVISION ASIA is a non-profit organization established in February 1999 to empower people with disabilities and their families. The organization has served over 8500+ people with disabilities by providing mobility aids, physiotherapy, education sponsorships, PlayGroup, English & Computer training, counseling, job placement, government advocacy, diabetes care and run Mithra Special School.
With a team of 24 dedicated staff—many of whom have disabilities; and a host of volunteers; proVISION ASIA continues to inspire hope and wholeness through self-reliance.
