For millions in India, heart disease is not just a health crisis—it’s an economic catastrophe. As the leading cause of death, it takes lives too soon, leaving families shattered and communities struggling. Where millions fight for a single meal, a hospital visit can mean choosing between treatment and starvation.
That’s why we’re building the world’s largest totally free, 600-bed hospital—where life-saving treatment comes without a price tag.
Why This Matters
When someone dies from heart disease, it’s not just an individual loss—it’s a family shattered, a community left struggling. In rural India, where every hand matters for survival, a single preventable death can push an entire family into hardship for generations.
- India accounts for one-fifth of global deaths due to cardiovascular disease.
- 272 per 100,000 people die of heart disease—higher than the global average.
- The country needs thousands more cardiac care centres to prevent avoidable deaths.
What We Are Building
We are raising funds for the cardiac wing of this groundbreaking hospital in Muddenahalli, Karnataka, opening in November 2025. It will be the only cardiac facility within 50 km of Chikkaballapur district, ensuring thousands get the care they desperately need—without financial barriers.

Beyond healthcare, the Trust runs 28 educational campuses, including India’s first free-of-charge medical college, a private university, and a vocational training centre, ensuring that quality education reaches underserved communities.
