Every day, countless young women face gendered societal barriers that keep them from realizing their full potential—barriers like limited access to education, lack of mobility, safety concerns, and patriarchal norms. These challenges prevent them from seizing the opportunities that would allow them to become financially independent, secure, and empowered.
The Economic Justice Programme (EJP) is here to change that.
Through hard and soft skills training, internships, and job placements in collaboration with other NGOs and corporate partners, we are paving the way for young women to break the cycle and lead empowered lives. But the heart of the program lies in the unwavering support we offer, helping these women tackle the deep-rooted issues that stand in their way—issues like the fear for their safety, time constraints due to household responsibilities, and the lack of essential sexual and reproductive health rights.
With the funds raised through the TCS World 10K this year, we aim to provide the transformative EJP to 300 young women in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
