At Akshaya, seniors enjoy healthy meals, preventive medical care, and comfortable living conditions. The homes are designed to provide complete care, especially for those who are bedridden. But Akshaya goes beyond basic needs; it fosters interactions filled with love and care, organizes outings and tours, and celebrates various festivals throughout the year to bring joy to the residents' lives.
Supporting Akshaya Trust means contributing to a cause that brings smiles to many faces. Donations to the Trust are eligible for tax exemptions under Section 80G of the IT Act 1961, making it a rewarding opportunity for donors.

Akshaya Trust is a non-profit organization devoted to offering free housing for destitute senior citizens in Chennai. For over 23 years, we have been a beacon of hope and a new home for those left alone in their twilight years. Currently, we care for over 250 senior citizens, providing a wide array of services including nutritious meals, medical care, entertainment, and most importantly, love and care, all at no cost.
