Request for Comprehensive Support for Special children

It is a Non-governmental organization committed to the care and support of children infected and affected by HIV. With over two decades of service, we operate across Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra, striving to improve the lives of these vulnerable children through a holistic approach. DESIRE Society is dedicated to providing a full life potential for children impacted by HIV. Our mission is to ensure their overall well-being through comprehensive healthcare, nutrition, education, and psycho-social support. Our core activities include: 1. Operating residential care homes for HIV-infected and affected children. 2. Ensuring access to life-saving antiretroviral therapy (ART) and other essential medical treatments. 3. Providing nutritious meals to boost health outcomes. 4. Facilitating education and vocational training to help secure their future. 5. Offering psychological and emotional support to help children lead fulfilling lives despite their condition. Request for Comprehensive Support : To continue our mission and enhance the quality of services we seek your kind support in the following areas: 1. Healthcare: Regular medical check-ups, access to necessary medications, and specialized treatments. 2. Education: Sponsorship for tuition fees, transportation, educational materials, and extracurricular activities to promote holistic development. 3. Nutrition: Provision of nutritious meals and supplements to ensure the children’s healthy growth and development.

Nutrition camp

Health care camp has facility of supplementary nutrition kit provision covering community special [HIV] children in city location Bangalore, We have around 80 such special HIV community children enrolled in Bangalore under umbrella of this healthcare camp program. The medical / nutrition aspect is touched upon while conducting such camps. The outreach worker is placed in community to mobilize such families to our camps. Each supplementary Nutrition kit contain Calcimax -P syrup, Zenkovit syrup, Poustik plus power, Dry fruits, Seasonal fruits, Ragi powder and jaggery.
