I hope you are doing well. I am writing to you with a heavy heart to share that my dear uncle, Prakash S, has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which has unfortunately spread to his liver. The news has been devastating for our family, especially for his two young daughters, who are still in school, in the 6th and 8th grades.
We have consulted with doctors at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital in Basavanagudi, where they have advised an urgent surgery followed by extensive treatment. The total estimated cost is between 15 to 20 lakh INR, which is a significant amount for us, as my uncle’s small business has already suffered heavy losses, leaving him without any income for months.
We have Arranged some amount by taking with someone for Interest and done with a Surgery. Now the doctor has suggested to go for 3 cycles( 3 times each cycle) of Chemotherapy which will be costing even more for him and unable to run a business.
So far, our family has managed to spend around 8 lakh INR on diagnostic tests, including MRI, PET scans, biopsies, and hospital consultations and surgery. However, we are now struggling to meet the overwhelming costs of surgery and treatment, and this has added immense emotional and financial pressure on our family.
As the sole person responsible for his care, I am humbly reaching out for any financial support you may be able to offer. Your kindness and generosity would be a beacon of hope in this incredibly difficult time, and even the smallest contribution would make a huge difference in helping us provide my uncle with the life-saving treatment he needs.
