I am a kidney transplant recipient living with Lupus, an autoimmune condition. In 2020, I was diagnosed with Lupus and kidney failure, requiring a year of dialysis and chemotherapy before undergoing a life-saving kidney transplant in 2021. A year later, I ran my first 10K marathon, and since then, I have been running half marathons to raise awareness about Lupus and kidney disease.
I am working with a health tech startup and use my Instagram platform to advocate for these causes. Having experienced dialysis firsthand, I understand its physical, emotional, and financial toll. Through this fundraiser, I am committed to raising funds and making a meaningful impact in the lives of dialysis patients.
