MY APPEAL

Hello, I'm Bharati and I am running to raise funds for animals.

I'm not a runner, btw. I'm at best a long-distance walker! But belief makes us do things we never thought were possible.

I head FIAPO - the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations.
Every day, animals across India suffer unimaginable cruelty. FIAPO fights legal battles in court to protect and enforce the rights and welfare of animals. And we urgently need your support.

Right now, we're fighting three critical legal battles:
1. Stopping Brutal Dog Fights
2. Protecting Captive Elephants
3. Criminalising Sexual Abuse of Animals

This work is expensive. And cases can go on for years. But it's our best chance to create lasting change for animals.

So I'm doing something I've never done before to raise money for animals - RUN!

FIAPO is the collective voice of the animal protection movement in India. We bring together activists, organisations and volunteers to liberate all non-human animals from exploitation and suffering.
