At Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA), we encourage children to speak up for their rights and teach them about citizenship rights.
CMCA is partcicpating for this Aidbees TCS World 10K Bengaluru Run. We want to raise Rs.1,60,000 for our rural project in Karnataka – "My Library for Better Me program", a niche project that will benefit young students.
This will help in funding one rural Library and will benefit 40 children for a period of one year.
CMCA has tied up with the Govt of Karnataka to run the “My Library for a Better Me” programme in Panchayat Libraries, where children are introduced to a host of activities, by trained CMCA mentors. The focus areas are Active Citizenship, awareness on Gender equity, Diversity, Financial & Digital Literacy & so on.
