Indian Wheelchair Tennis Tour (IWTT) an initiative of Astha use the power of sport to bring about personal transformation and social inclusion for persons with disabilities across India.

We have started to set up inclusive academies in different parts of India. We believe greater accessibility means greater participation. Our programs are aimed at increasing awareness, access, and opportunity enabling players to take up the sport.

We aim to put Indian wheelchair tennis on the world map by 2026. To accomplish this we discover, train, and support the best of the best. The vision of IWTT is to take Indian Wheelchair Tennis onto the world map by 2026. IWTT is now embarking on a commitment to set up India’s first tennis centre dedicated to the development of wheelchair tennis. Deuce Tennis Centre will design and implement programs through tennis to provide equitable opportunities for participation to all the stakeholders of wheelchair tennis and tennis in general to create a vibrant democratic ecosystem to harness the power of sports for communities. The planned centre will have 4 tennis courts where education and tennis can be integrated for Children with disabilities.

Astha’s commitment to creating opportunities for individuals with mobility constraints is further highlighted by its partnership in the TCS World 10K, a platform utilised to raise funds for the development of “The Deuce Tennis Centre” at Chickballapur. This tennis centre is not just a facility; it symbolizes a commitment to providing world-class training and infrastructure for wheelchair tennis players, enabling them to compete at the national level.

Before a constraint shows up in the world it first shows up in the human mind and eventually exists in the agreements that are formed. The fundamental barrier for people is, this agreement, that there are only a limited set of possibilities for people with disabilities. This challenge cannot be addressed in the same realm of thinking that has gotten us where we are. It requires new thinking. Astha’s work enables people with disabilities, their friends, family and society at large to think beyond the box of socially constructed norms regarding disability and abilities of persons with disabilities.


Exploring potential, living joyously, living a life of complete participation is not even a dream for most people with disabilities.


Astha's work is inspired by the motto "newly possible" for every project we plan. This motto guides us to ignite the dreams of a growing number of people with disabilities in India.


Astha's work focuses on building an inclusive ecosystem in India within which persons with disabilities are equally contributing members along side their non-disabled peers.


Astha's work creates increasing opportunities for interaction among the disabled and non-disabled people living in India. This approach enhances opportunities for both the groups to know one another better. This approach blurs the boundaries between the two groups to a degree such that engagement between them is rooted in joy, satisfaction, and growth.


Astha's work empowers persons with disabilities to lead a life of their dreams by using sports as a tool for development and by improving education opportunities among Indians with disabilities. More importantly, Astha's work also focuses on improving voting rights of Indian with disabilities.


Discovering challenges, creating solutions and managing delivery of these solutions are themes Astha follows while choosing projects.
