"Being disabled should not mean being disqualified from having access to every aspect of life." - This quote from actress Emma Thompson gives a good explanation of why I'm taking part in this initiative. Nothing could make me happier than helping people get access to and enjoy tennis, my favourite thing in the entire world.
With this in mind, I am raising funds for the Indian Wheelchair Tennis Tour (IWTT), an initiative of Astha, which aims to set up India’s first tennis centre dedicated to the development of wheelchair tennis. Deuce Tennis Centre will design and implement programs through tennis to provide equitable opportunities for participation to all the stakeholders of wheelchair tennis and tennis in general to create a vibrant democratic ecosystem to harness the power of sports for communities. The planned centre at Chickballapur will have four tennis courts where education and tennis can be integrated for Children with disabilities.
A small donation from your end will help go a long way in this endeavour!!

My name is Haresh Ramchandani, a 44-year-old born and residing up in Mumbai. I currently work in the financial sector and am extremely passionate about tennis. I read this nice quote from Mary Carillo, a former tennis player and now a leading tennis broadcaster, who said, “If you’re like me and you’re lucky enough to get somewhere in life, you’ve got to send the elevator back down. That’s the rule." So here I am, trying to do my little bit to make the world a slightly better place!!
A big thank you to all those who have donated on this page.
