Furthermore, with the TCS race, I aim to seize the opportunity to support underprivileged individuals and families who are forced to migrate from their villages to big cities due to drought, debts, and the pursuit of secure livelihoods. Many children from these communities face barriers to education, including physical access, existing learning deficits, and cultural barriers. Even if they manage to attend school, under-resourced government schools often fail to provide meaningful learning experiences, resulting in poor outcomes, low attendance, and ultimately, dropouts.
This is where organizations like the Gubbachi Learning Community step in, providing marginalized children with meaningful learning experiences to break the cycle of poverty through education, enabling them to live with economic, social, and personal dignity.
I have known Gubbachi Learning Community since 2018, and I've witnessed firsthand the incredible work they do. Their dedication and impact have inspired me to further support them, which is why I'm reaching out to you. Throughout my life, I've dabbled in athletics, but it wasn't until my 30s that I unearthed my true passion. Now, in the later part of my life, I'm fully embracing my love for running and cycling. In 2020, I delved into long-distance cycling and tackled numerous challenging races, including an impressive 1000km stretch as part of the BR race. Later, I added running to my repertoire and took on races like the TCS and Tata Mumbai marathons.
I'm excited to keep pursuing my passion and living my dream. My hope is to inspire many others to discover and follow their own passions too!
