Greetings, I am James Alfred Dcunha, deeply moved by the plight of destitute children in and around Bangalore. Witnessing their struggles has ignited a fervent desire with me to extend a helping hand. Recognizing the challenges of tackling this issue individually, I have chosen to collaborate with 'New Home,' an NGO under the umbrella of Reaching Hand, based in Bangalore.
Reaching Hand, right from its inception in 1996, has been instrumental in transforming the lives of underprivileged children through initiatives like 'New Home,' providing shelter to 50 children and 'Lighthouse International Academy,' offering free education to 150 children. Their dedication resonates with their mission: to reach out to these less privileged children, offering them a nurturing home and empowering education to navigate life's challenges.
In April 2024, Reaching Hand will partake in the 10k TCS Marathon, and I am proud to stand alongside them in this noble endeavor. I appeal to you to join forces with me in supporting Reaching Hand's mission, ensuring that every child receives the care, education and opportunities they rightfully deserve.
