This is something denied to 18-year olds from vulnerable communities who are required to leave the care institutions. The law deems them adults, leaving them to face the daunting tasks of finding a place to stay, providing for themselves, securing employment, and addressing the emotional and physical challenges that come with newfound independence. The days leading up to their 18th birthday are filled with anxiety, dread, and confusion. It's recognized that the transition to independence is a critical phase, and supportive measures are essential to help these individuals build a better life.
WeLive Foundation provides a space to call home, a vibrant community of friends and mentors and the necessary support to work, study and pursue their dreams. They provide them mentorship and a Community where they can build a sense of belonging and ease this transition for these young adults, providing them with the support they need to build a stable and secure future.
