CRY is a renowned nonprofit organization fighting for children's rights across India. Since 1979, CRY has been tirelessly working to transform the lives of underprivileged children. It has created happier childhoods for over 3 million children since its inception. CRY ensures children have access to quality education, healthcare, protection from exploitation, and the opportunity to realize their full potential, regardless of their socio-economic background.
CRY's Impact in 2022-23:
13,54,730 children were impacted overall
2,14,537 children in school
Over 30,000 children re-enrolled in school through CRY’s Academic and Psychosocial Support Centres
600+ kitchen gardens set up across 7 states, as a sustainable solution toward nutrition
6,471 children protected from child labor/ marriage/ trafficking
