My name is Usha Baliga, like every year this year too I will be participating in the Open 10K run on 27th April 2025 (tentative date) and will be fundraising for NGOs. Running is my passion and so is fundraising. The satisfaction and happiness that we get by helping others is priceless. I am so happy that TCSW10K has given me a wonderful opportunity to run and a platform to fund raise.
MY APPEAL
Chronic Kidney Disease is a worldwide health crisis. 10% of the population worldwide is affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD) and millions die each year because they do not have access to affordable treatment. Over 2 million people worldwide currently receive treatment with dialysis or a kidney transplant to stay alive, yet this number may only represent 10% of people who actually need treatment to live. It is estimated that number of cases of kidney failure will increase disproportionately in developing countries like ours. And more percentage of people belong to low or middle income groups. Chronic kidney disease can be treated, With early diagnosis and treatment, it’s possible to slow or stop the progression of kidney disease.
So please come and join hands with me in supporting and contributing to BKF. No one has become poor by giving. There is no other immense pleasure one can obtain by giving away to charity.

My name is Usha Baliga and an Engineer by profession having 18 + years of working experience in the field of Semiconductor industry. I wanted to be an entrepreneur and hence joined the family business as a Partner in the firm - Lakshmi Info Solutions. We are into ERP Marketing and Implementation catering the small and medium scale industries, in and around Bangalore. Apart from that my passion for making a difference to the society that we live drove me to get into Recycling of Plastics. We are the official Plastic Recyclers Certified by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board as well as the Bangalore Corporation. We have a small unit off Mysore Road, Bidadi Industrial Area in the outskirts of Bangalore where we recycle all kinds of plastic scraps.
My passion towards helping mankind and bringing changes in the society, by enabling and empowering less fortunate's, so that they can lead a normal life. Also instill Values, which brings in positive wave in the society, without compromising and by honoring one's integrity. Create a positive impact in the habitat where we live and thus be a good Samaritans of our Country.
I am also passionate about running and have participated in events under 10K, HM and Full Marathon category. I loved the concept of TCS W10K where one can run and fund raise for the NGOs of our choice.
