A senior citizen, aiming to improve his financial knowledge, joined an online stock investment training session, only to lose ₹6 crore to scammers. This case illustrates a troubling trend of online fraud targeting older adults, who are often exploited due to their trust and unfamiliarity with digital platforms.
At Vayah Vikas, we are deeply committed to empowering our elders to safely and confidently engage with technology. Our mission is to provide comprehensive digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness programs tailored specifically for senior citizens. By educating them about common online scams, teaching them safe internet practices, and building their confidence in using digital tools, we aim to protect them from such malicious activities.
